These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of this website, online store, and any related services provided by Rakuzan Co., Ltd. ("Rakuzan", "we", "us", or "our"). Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our products and services to you.

By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or using any part of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, please do not use our website or services.

Because tea is an agricultural product, color, aroma, flavor, texture, and other characteristics may vary slightly depending on harvest timing, production lot, storage conditions, and other natural factors.

Product descriptions, availability, prices, and packaging are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue or limit the sale of any product at any time.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS

When you place an order through our online store, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance of the order and process your payment.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion. This may include cases where product information or pricing contains an error, where payment cannot be processed, where shipping to the destination is unavailable, or where we suspect resale or other unauthorized use.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Once an order has been accepted and processing has begun, cancellation or change requests may not be accommodated. Cancellation requests may be considered before dispatch, provided that order processing has not advanced too far.

If we cancel or make changes to your order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address, billing address, shipping address, or phone number provided at the time of order.

Your purchases are subject to return, exchange, or refund solely in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Personal Use Only

Products sold through this store are intended for personal consumption only.

Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed and confirmed.

Unless otherwise clearly stated, product prices do not include shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, GST, handling fees, foreign transaction fees, or any other charges imposed by your payment provider, shipping carrier, or destination country.

Prices posted in our online store may differ from prices offered in physical stores, other online stores, or stores operated by third parties. From time to time, we may offer promotions that are subject to separate terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between promotional terms and these Terms, the promotional terms will apply to the relevant promotion.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, payment, and account information for all purchases. You also agree to promptly update your account and payment information as needed so that we can complete your transactions and contact you if necessary.

Currency and Exchange Fees

All prices are displayed and charged in Japanese Yen (JPY), unless otherwise clearly stated.

Currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, exchange rate differences, and other charges imposed by your credit card company, bank, or payment provider are your responsibility. Rakuzan does not control these fees and cannot predict or estimate them.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Orders are shipped from Japan.

Estimated shipping times are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be delayed due to customs processing, carrier delays, weather, holidays, incorrect shipping information, destination country regulations, or other circumstances outside our control.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the order details, destination, package weight, and shipping method available at the time of purchase.

Once your order has been shipped, we will provide shipping information where available.

Air Shipping Only

To preserve the quality and freshness of our tea products, all orders are shipped by air. Sea freight is not available.

Personal Import

Products purchased through this store may be treated as personal imports in the destination country or region.

You are responsible for confirming whether the products can be imported into your country or region and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, customs requirements, import restrictions, and documentation requirements.

You are also responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, GST, VAT, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country, customs authorities, shipping carrier, or related service providers.

Risk of Loss and Delivery Issues

If a shipment appears to be lost, delayed, or damaged during transit, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

In some cases, claims, investigations, or compensation procedures may need to be handled according to the rules and procedures of the shipping carrier. We may ask you to provide your order number, photos of the package or product, and any other information reasonably necessary to assist with the investigation.

Customs Refusal

Rakuzan is not responsible for delays, additional costs, confiscation, rejection, or return of shipments caused by customs procedures, import restrictions, unpaid duties or taxes, incomplete documentation, or refusal to accept delivery.

If a shipment is returned, refused, abandoned, confiscated, or disposed of due to customs issues, failure to pay required duties or taxes, failure to provide required information, or refusal to accept delivery, we may be unable to provide a refund. Any additional costs, including return shipping, storage, disposal, or administrative fees, may be deducted from any refund where applicable.

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, product names, designs, photographs, videos, icons, and layout, is owned by or licensed to Rakuzan and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Our online store is powered by Shopify. Shopify provides the platform that enables us to operate our store and provide our services to you.

However, any sales and purchases made through this store are transactions directly between you and Rakuzan. Shopify is not responsible for the products sold by Rakuzan, the fulfillment of orders, or any issue arising from your purchase of our products.

By using our services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and Rakuzan, including any injury, damage, loss, or claim related to products purchased through this store.

Damaged, Incorrect, Defective, or Missing Items

If you receive a damaged, incorrect, defective, or missing item, please contact us within 10 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging. We will review the situation and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, refund, or other reasonable solution in accordance with our Refund Policy. Requests made after this 10-day period may not be accommodated.

No Returns for Preference Reasons

Because our products are food items, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for opened, unsealed, used, or improperly stored items, or for reasons of personal preference or change of mind, except where required by applicable law.
